Katie Hardwick originally trained in gymnastics and theatre, beginning circus skills at the age of eight - she was a member of the Young Peoples’ Programme at The Circus Space, on which she later taught.
Whilst studying English Literature with creative writing at University College Falmouth, Katie worked with Swamp Circus as a performer and teacher. She became a student representative for the Hall for Cornwall theatre and represented the Circo Kernow youth circus at Circus Arts Forums.
Since returning to London, Katie works as a freelance performer, in pantomime and theatre, events, ceremonies and festivals; as well as still and motion photography. Katie is a teacher and choreographer at London’s leading circus schools. She is also a founder of Circus Suburbia, working as their circus project director.
